Kasbah Ait ben haddou, it's an old castle located in southeast Morocco, between the famous city Ouarzazate and Marrakech.

history:

castle in the Amazigh language is kasbah, built by local people centuries ago with traditional materials like wood, clay, and rocks. the castle at that time contained the people of the village in their houses remained together by the castle. 


the purpose of the kasbah is not just to preserve people but to protect them from enemies and from the hard weather like the hot temperature in summer cause inside the kasbah stays cooler than outside by this agglomeration of houses.


the kasbah was built next to a river where the water stays all year, people culture their food on farms next to the kasbah which gives an amazing view to the visitors.

The Kasbah now still has people who live in and she a special spot where you can find a lot of luxury hotels and beautiful views.
